Rim Energy Agora, Tokyo

11-12 November

Rim Intelligence is the leading Japanese Energy market reporter and has been providing market and price information mainly on the oil, LPG and petrochemicals market. Held at Tokyo International Forum, this event connects overseas technology providers with Japanese energy and biomass stakeholders.

In recent years renewable energy started to play a role in RIMs considerations and a Biomass weekly report (Pellets and PKS) is produced. With the energy market in Japan being stable, open, and one of the largest in the world the first “Rim Energy Agora” is organized with the aim of providing an opportunity for overseas companies to directly connect with Japanese players, and a venue for Japanese companies to learn about energy and leading technology for building a sustainable future for Japan.

IBTC President Michael Wild will speak on 12 November at 10:30 AM (CET+7) on "Power Defossilisation in Japan through thermally upgraded biomass as an ideal carbon-neutral drop-in coal substitute."
