Re-election of the IBTC Presidium & General Assembly 2026

Re-election of the IBTC Presidium & General Assembly 2026

General Assembly 2026

The recent IBTC General Assembly brought together members from across the entire Circular Biocarbon value chain, both onsite in London and online from different regions of the world.

With a steadily expanding and diversifying membership base, IBTC is further strengthening its role as a platform for structured collaboration, technical exchange and the long-term development of high-quality Circular Biocarbon markets. As the organisation continues to grow internationally and the sector itself enters a new phase of development, continuity in leadership and strategic direction becomes increasingly important. Over the past years, IBTC has significantly expanded its activities in areas such as standardisation, logistics, terminology development, communication and international representation.

 Re-election of the IBTC Presidium

One important milestone of this year's General Assembly was the re-election of the Presidium. Michael Wild and Tom Sieverts were confirmed in office for another three years.

Congratulations to both.

We would also like to sincerely thank all members who joined the discussions, shared perspectives and contributed constructively to the exchange during the General Assembly.

A special thank you goes to our member Javelin Commodities for once again hosting us in their London office and providing such an excellent setting for the meeting.
